Charlottesville Guitar Festival

We've finished this fundraiser! Please, don't donate, as we're done with the guitar festival. We're now in the process of getting the funds transfered out of this website. When that happens successfully, we'll close the fundraiser's page. We can't right now as that hasn't happened yet. Thank you for helping us with the 2017 Charlottesville Classical Guitar Festival & Competition  and the Charlottesville Classical Guitar Concert Series.

This is the 1st time that something like this was done in Charlottesville. The total expenses for the guitar festival & competition were $3,950, which included:

Artists' fees: 1,700
Venue rental (The Haven): $500
Publishing materials (banner, posters, postcards, website and programs): $200
Hotel: $300
Competition winners' awards: $1,050
Food/Bottled Water: $200
Total: $3,950

The festival budget was very low because all administrative and organizational work was done by volunteers and because the artists were very generous with their fees (Matt Palmer, Candice Mowbray, and Rafael Scarfullery, among others).
