Our dear neighbor, Charlie Matthews' house unexpectedly caught fire on Saturday, October 17th. The house and all personal belongings are at a complete loss.
A little background on Charlie:
Charlie is a well known neighbor and friend to many of the residents in Cedar Grove and the entire gulf coast area. Charlie's has been a resident of Cedar Grove for 42 years. He has always been there for his family, friends and neighbors. This is our chance to be there in return for Charlie and to thank him for all he has done for us and our families.
Due to disability and lack of home insurance we need the community to pull together and help the Matthews family in this tragic time.
