Restaurant Dreams Coming True

1This is my parents' dream come true, they are now the owners of their very own restaurant. The restaurant is named Goldie's after my mom's grandmother who inspired her to become a chef and who taught her so many of her traditional, home cooked recipes. The restaurant has been a dream of my mother's for many years and just last year she found the perfect place to make her dream come true. She bought the building and our family has worked tirelessly to make it exactly how she had it pictured in her mind. After a year of hard work by my parents of tearing down walls, ripping up floors, installing new electrical and building it all back up to what it is today they are now in need of some help. Without my mom bringing in an income and my dad being their only financial resource during the process, they need some equipment for the kitchen that is not in their budget. My mom bought some equipment from a restaurant thinking that she could use the second hand equipment until they were up and running and then she could purchase new equipment down the road. They began installing the equipment last week and found out being first time restaurant owners that they had purchased the wrong equipment. The prep tables, hood, fryer and waitress station are all too large and will not work in the space they have. She is trying to sell the equipment so that she has the money to buy smaller equipment but she has had no luck so far. We are asking for donations to make this restaurant and dream of my parents a reality. These are the two most deserving people of all good things in their life. They have struggled financially their entire lives to make their children's lives great and they have succeeded by leaps and bounds. They are the grandparents of 8 grandchildren and the parents of 3 college educated children who worked to put themselves through college. Any donation to help the restaurant purchase new equipment and get up and running would be appreciated beyond what words could ever explain.
