New tool for businesses. Packaging made fun!
Three friends have recently obtained two (2) U.S. Patents that turn a football into a container for concessions. An unlimited list of products ranging from candy to t-shirts can be placed within. The container's design is simple, fun and recyclable. It turns the football itself into a vessel that teams, players, businesses & organizations can use to raise capital.
Our goal is simple. Sharing design and production cost of the container with larger colleges and professional teams aids smaller companies to market new products to their local communities by insuring competitive cost sharing.
Here's an example: A high school’s name & season, home & away game information on a t-shirt would not only support the team financially, it would also serve as an advertisement to the local community to come support their organization as well. Placing a t-shirt in the ball would make the delivery of the t-shirt to the customer a memorable one.
The public and private sector's donations will help to make this tool available to the tens of thousands of pop-warner youth sports, high school, college, semi-pro, pro teams, businesses (sports bars for example) nationwide that could benefit from the use of this unique container.
Our patent attorneys suggested the three of us create a corporation. Funny, the name Cool Ideas, LLC (CI) came to mind quickly. We would like to thank our legal team at Burns and Levinson of Boston for all their help. They suggested we consider setting up a crowdfunding page to help us cover the cost of launching this venture. Since the product itself focuses on aiding other entities reach their goals, we agreed.
What will your funds be used for in this round? This round of investment backs up the two (2) U.S. Patents already issued with a couple of variations, covers the development costs associated with producing the prototypes you see in the picture, marketing the idea and any legal expenses connected.
Why is this venture important to the founders of this idea? It is CI’s goal to donate 25% of our share of the company's profits the football-shaped containers develop towards charities that aide those who suffer Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’s) and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE’s) as one of our founders experienced himself. Brain injuries are not limited to the game of football. TBI’s & CTE’s affect the youth as much as adults, happens to males and females, hits every race and every walk of life.
Businesses large and small could take pride in the fact that money they raise using the Game Day Football supports their goal 1st and CI’s 2nd. Everyone wins!
