Chang Yang's life has ended short at 23 years old. He was born with Beta thalassemia major and underwent through two bone-marrow transplants in attempt to recover from it. He spent his whole life fighting this disorder. Never once in his life did he waver from his condition. No matter what he went through, he always came back smiling at life.
In 2017, he contracted GVHD and it slowly ate his life away. He spent everyday the last year of his life fighting it with all his might. He never once looked down on himself, but kept fighting until the very end.
He is now in a better place, peaceful and healthy. We truly know that he is right by God's side and smiling down upon us.
