Chandler Espinoza Medical Expenses

Thank you for visiting this page. As many of you may know, our friend Chip Espinoza and his family suffered a tragedy during the holidays. Chip and Lisa’s 25 year old son Chandler was struck by a car on Antonio Parkway while bicycling to work on December 15th.  Chandler’s brain and spine were severely injured and he spent over two weeks in a coma at Mission Hospital.  Many of you may know Chandler from his days working at Dove Canyon, Board and Brew, as well as playing golf.  

Despite an amazing effort by the hospital staff, Chandler unfortunately passed away on New Year’s Day from his injuries.  Chandler put up an incredible fight and the Espinoza family appreciates all of you who visited his bedside, made phone calls, sent texts, e-mails and said prayers for his recovery.  Chandler was a great young man with a bright future and this tragedy has been devastating for his tight-knit family.

While hospitalized, Chandler had many operations and procedures performed in the hope that he would ultimately recover from the injuries he sustained. The cost of these operations and procedures is extraordinary so I am asking you all for your assistance. The medical bills are going to be a tremendous cost to the family so anything that you could do to help would be appreciated.  Most of you know that Chip is a pastor and he has generously helped many of us at Dove Canyon in our time of need.  Now this can be your opportunity as a community to rally behind Chip and Lisa in their time of need. 

If you feel more comfortable writing a check, Gabe Ramos of Dove Canyon has graciously offered to accept donations for the family in the Dove Canyon Golf Club pro shop.  Chip and Lisa will be announcing arrangements soon regarding services for Chandler.  Please think of the Espinoza family in their time of grief and please say a prayer for Chandler and the entire Espinoza family.
