Cedar Grove Waves 2018
Donation protected
I am humbled and honored. Cedar Grove Waves and the Cedar Grove Board of Education have secured a 4 foot piece of WTC 9/11 steel to be apart of a permanent display at Cedar Grove High School.
Through the generous efforts and hard work of the Port Authority PBA and the World Trade Center Memorial Fund, our school district will now have on display a permanent monument to honor and remember the lives lost. Our goal with the steel display is to further continue the conversation about the events of that day for future students who where to young to remember.
I am raising money for the masonry, brick work and landscaping that is required - so that the steel will be properly displayed with dignity.
Cedar Grove Waves is now entering our 4th year and we are honored that the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum has notified us that they would like to highlight the Cedar Grove Waves 9/11 Flag display.
They have selected a few communities to feature on their website and social media channels.
