My Next Level Journey

Life is hard. Or it can be full of joyful challenges! Sometimes we make it harder than it has to be, I know I certainly have. But all things have a purpose, right? I have lost sight of that. For the past 30 years, my purpose was to be a mom, to develop 7 small people into amazing human beings. That was an important job. But as a single mom, that didn't leave much room for personal development or, really, anything more than survival. 

Now that the youngest is nearly 18, it is my turn. It is also time for me to focus outward, beyond myself and my family to see how I can impact the world in positive ways.

Enter Next Level (www.nextleveltrainings.com). From the website, "The Next Level Trainings is an experiential workshop on leadership and emotional intelligence. Mastering leadership starts with developing self-awareness. We all have patterns in our lives. Some work for us and others don’t. The ones that don’t are generated by underlying limiting beliefs that are blind spots. These blind spots are, by definition, difficult to notice, and create predictable breakdowns in our lives."

I certainly have had blind spots and limiting beliefs that sabotaged my success.

I don't want to do that anymore because I also have dreams, BIG dreams! I want to be a force for good in the world, to provide a safe space for people to heal, learn, & grow. This year, through the coaching and encouragement I will receive through Next Level, I intend to write a book and go on a speaking tour. I also intend to develop all the support activities around that: website, blog, YouTube, etc.

Eventually, I intend to develop a retreat center. The vision for that is still forming, but I know it will happen.

Mostly, I want to finish the Next Level process for them (the ones in the photo). They believe in me maybe even more than I believe in myself, so I want to be the best me I can be. They need that. The world needs that (the world needs each of us the be the best me's we can be). I need that.

However, also as a single mom, there isn't extra money for this process. So I am reaching out to my friends, family, business associates and counting on the random kindness of strangers to help me get there without putting a lot of strain on the family budget.

Here are the basics, for which the goal was set:
Discovery (already attended) - $495
Breakthrough (Feb. 22-25) - $895
Vision & Impact Program (VIP - begins March 6) - $1195 (If I pay in full by Feb. 22, I save $300!)

It would also be great to increase the goal to account for the loss of income while attending these trainings, but one thing at a time.
