Carol's Brick House!

Last year, we started a fund raising effort in honor of a very special lady by the name of Carol Worgull. It was started in conjunction with the "Girl's Annual Wine Tasting Event," a tradition spearheaded by Carol herself for almost 15 years! We named the foundation "Carol's Brick House" and Jen, Stacey and Amy (Carol's daughters) decided that the money should go toward a tradition that was very important to Carol -- creating and building family memories.
To that end, the girls donated all the money that was collected to a local foundation, the Karen Wellington Foundation that provides family vacations for women and their families when they are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The girls nominated a woman that they knew who is currently battling (and winning) the fight. She was a volleyball player that Carol coached and she is a year older than Jen, with 3 children. The girls later found out that the foundation funded a 4-day family trip to the beach for her and her family. She was so appreciative, as they could not afford this quality family time and memory-making trip, because she wasn't able to work full time while undergoing treatment and she has a lot of medical costs. She told Jen that the trip was the first true family vacation ever!
As we are now looking forward to the Second Annual Carol Worgull Memorial Girls Wine Tasting Event, let's continue to honor Carol by donating to Carol's Brick House! Let's help her daughters continue what their Mom lived -- a tradition of creating and building family memories!
