Caribe Girl Scouts Council es una organización sin fines de lucro que se dedica a desarrollar liderazgo, inculcar valores, autoestima y conciencia social a miles de niñas y jóvenes entre kínder a duodécimo grado, a través de todo Puerto Rico. Después del paso del huracán María (septiembre de 2017) aproximadamente el 45% de nuestras familias Girl Scouts quedaron afectadas y nos comprometimos a ayudarlas ante esta situación. De igual forma, el Concilio sufrió varios daños al igual que nuestros campamentos Elisa Colberg - en Río Grande (justo al lado de El Yunque) Provi Biaggi en Ponce y María Emilia en Añasco, los cuales terminaron sumamente afectados debido a los efectos que dejó el huracán.
Sin embargo, gracias al apoyo de nuestras hermanas Girl Scouts de Estados Unidos, compañías privadas, voluntarios y donantes, hemos podido recuperarnos poco a poco aunque todavía nos queda mucho por hacer. Aún nuestros campamentos no están recuperados totalmente y seguimos trabajando arduamente para brindarles apoyo a nuestras tropas. Tu ayuda le da la oportunidad a las niñas de seguir viviendo la experiencia de liderazgo que Girl Scouts ofrece. Cualquier donativo es válido. Los invito a que rieguen la voz, compartan este enlace para que juntos podamos seguir ayudando a nuestras niñas, a nuestro Concilio y volvamos a pintar a Puerto Rico de verde.

Caribe Girl Scouts Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leadership, instilling values, self-esteem and social awareness to thousands of girls and young women between kindergarten and twelfth grade, throughout Puerto Rico. After the impact of Hurricane Maria (September 2017) approximately 45% of our Girl Scout families were affected and we committed to help them in this situation. Likewise, the Council suffered several damages, as did our camps Elisa Colberg - in Rio Grande (right next to El Yunque) Provi Biaggi in Ponce and María Emilia in Añasco, which ended up being highly affected due to the effects left by the hurricane.
However, thanks to the support of our Girl Scout sisters from the United States, private companies, volunteers and donors, we have been able to recover little by little, although we still have a lot to do. Even our camps are not fully recovered and we continue to work hard to support our troops. Your help gives our girls the opportunity to continue living the leadership experience that Girl Scouts offer. Any donation is valid.
