Weight: 47 lbs Medical Observation: (10/3) Has had decreased appetite (possibly not eating at all) for at least 2 days. Mucoid nasal discharge. Was started on baytril yesterday. Is at risk for URI decline and progression to pneumonia. Rec 300 cc LRS SQ, hand feed, promote to rescue. (10/2) URI (9/22) Vet Check- Est 2 yo pittie with skin lesions likely secondary to combo of trauma and allergic. Otherwise appears in good health (9/21) Initial Exam- Hair Loss Abrasions all over body cut on top of back scars on face mildy dirty ears long nails red irritated skin mild ocular discharge very itchy capstar removed rainbow collar with blue leash attached. Behavior Observation: Per Vet Staff- Very excited, wants to play and climb into lap Per finder- friendly, play with children on finders street, pulls but not terribly on leash Personality: Despite coming in as a stray with abrasions all over her back and a big scar on her face, Crystal is a loving, affectionate girl who loves giving kisses. This pint sized former mama is a gentle treat taker, and is eager to please and learn commands. She is housetrained, high energy, and loves to go outside for walks and to play with her friends. While she has no reason to trust humans, Crystal seeks affection and reassurance on walks and loves getting pets and being close to her volunteer friends.
