Help for Cairn Tallulah Bean & Pups

They say a picture is worth a thousand words!
So, we’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Here is Miss Tallulah Bean and foster mom, Judith, standing by to receive yet another shipment of puppy and mommy goodies. Wow, what a lot of goodies this little mama and her beanie babies require!

We wanted to have our UPS man pose with us here, but he’s catching a breather on the porch right now—poor guy. Maybe next time...and there will be a next time.

Anticipating the arrival of the beanie babies is a very exciting, and nail-biting, kind of activity. Will they come late Friday night, just to make sure all the veterinarians have gone home. Ah, or perhaps they’ll wait for Memorial Day weekend, with lots of noises and everybody else out at picnics. Bingo! I think that’s what Tallulah has planned!

But whenever they come, these beanies will leave behind a hefty trail of expenses. Baby formula, vet visits, whelping box, special food for mom, blankets, towels, medicines, ointments, hot water bottles (yes, puppies need to be warm), Fletcher’s Castoria (who remembers that stuff – a show of hands please!) And many more things that most people wouldn’t even think of.

And the bottom line is, Col. Potter needs your help in making sure that all the little critters in the beanery get the best possible care and everything they will need to start out their lives the right way. Miss Tallulah herself never had this chance, because she lived most of her life on a commercial breeding farm – no good food, dirty water, no light, no love, no comfort.

With your help, it will be different for her babies, and for Tallulah. She will have the best medical care during her pregnancy and delivery, and she will always have a warm, dry and loving place to lie down. Tallulah will be able to keep her babies with her until she knows they are ready to be on their own. Her babies will be roly-poly happy puppies, growing up believing that “Life is Good.” And it will because many good people wanted it to be that way and so, you made it happen.

So we are asking you, please help in any way you can to bring these beanie babies into a world full of hope and happiness. No amount of money is too small to donate, no wishes of well-being are too far distant, no whisper of a prayer goes unheard.
