Cincinnati State CLC Team

Hello and thanks for stopping by our page. Here is some information on who we are: we are students at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College who are taking a class on Critical Thinking In Leadership. Essentially, it is a class that teaches a variety of leadership skill sets through application in real life settings. The conclusion of the course is a regional competition that takes place in Cleveland, Ohio on March 31st-April 2nd.  What is unique about this opportunity is we are the only community college that is competing this time and in the history of the CLC. We will be competing against teams from Ohio State,  Case Western Reserve, and others. We will be judged on our ability to effectively complete tasks as a team using leadership theories, behaviors, and terms we’ve studied this semester. We are excited to represent Cincinnati State as the only community college competing and are looking towards bringing home the win!

          As the only community college we have a challenge that the other schools do not. We have to fundraise to participate in the competition.  So far we have participated in two different fundraising activities but are still short of meeting our goal. We need to cover lodging for thirteen, and travel costs to Cleveland. Any bit of financial assistance you can give is greatly appreciated.
