THE TIME HAS COME.
I have always wanted to donate my hair but could never muster up the courage to chop it off! If you know me personally, you know my hair is who I am... but then I told myself... “IT’S JUST HAIR.. RIGHT?” Go big or go home.... I am making an event out of this! If I can get even $5 from someone, it's better than nothing!
The idea of donating hair has been heavy on my heart for such a long time and I have decided to take that step! What I am asking of you is to DONATE monetarily to the cause. I want to send as big of a donation as I possibly can along with my ponytail. It costs $1,000+ to make the wig for a just 1 child in need. My plan is to donate at least 10"-12" of hair so if this can go to more than 1 child, they will need $2,000 to complete these wigs.
So, with that said.. I ask you to donate and to SHARE this post so we can help a sweet sweet child (or children!) gain their confidence back.
Also, I have chosen “Children With Hair Loss” as my recipient after much research. They are a non-profit out of Michigan that gives wigs to children in the US who have medical hair loss. They don’t sell hair that is unable to be used.
I will post an update of the ponytail I send along with a photo of the check I mail with it! I can't wait to make my first (of hopefully many more) donations!
