Cherry Hill HS West puts on the most amazing shows every year, and the Theatre Department is outstanding. While East has always had a Theatre Boosters to help support their needs, for some reason West never did.
Before Phantom of the Opera had even begun rehearsals, a change in the school district practices about how West Theatre Department pays its bills threatened to cause them to have to cancel the production. Establishing this West Theatre Boosters organization and the generosity of those who donated to it saved the production.
The West Theatre Boosters will continue to support the program for future productions, so that in times of financial crisis they will no longer need to risk cancelling a show.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue to ensure West Theatre is sustained. Your money will go towards production costs such as costumes, sets, lights, sound, scripts, and show license fees-- none of which are financed by the school district.
