Jazz Vocalist Extraordinaire Debbie Duncan has been a household name in the Twin Cities for the past 30 years. While her voice and delivery often resembles the artistry of the great Sarah Vaughn, Ms. Duncan certainly has her own voice and unique style.
Debbie has performed throughout the country and around the world. Her premier CD, Debbie Duncan - Live At The Dakota CD was recorded in 1993 live at the legendary Dakota Jazz Club. It was the first album to be recorded "live" at the venue and was recorded under the IGMOD label.
. Her plan is to return to the Dakota for another live cd entitled ”Full Circle”. This CD, like its title will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ms. Duncan’s debut album and will capture what Debbie does best, which is to perform in front of a live audience.
The music business has changed quite a bit in the last 25 years. Back then, the recording label served as a liaison between the artist and the audience. Now, the artist(Debbie) has to come directly to you, her loyal fans and friends for support ;because of this, we are coming to you, our wonderful loyal fans, via gofundme, for support.
