Help CAA Sod Nicodemus Field!

Christian Athletic Association (CAA) is a sports organization which reaches out to children and adults by sharing a love for God, building relationships within family and community, as well as creating respect for authority, one's self and others. Our mission to "Train Athletes and Build Character" has been the cornerstone of CAA since it's inception in 1985.
At the end of our Fall 2015 soccer season, we made a significant investment into Nicodemus Field (Field 1) @ CAA Park. This is the big field which is closest to Ingleside Ave. We graded the ground and put down Athletic Field sod where the baseball infield used to be located. This took care of safety concerns and was an incredible improvement to the playing surface!
Along with the new sod in that corner of the field, the rest of the field was aerated and seeded to promote new growth of grass and create a playing surface that would be one of the best in the area.
Unfortunately, with all the snow melting so quickly, the field was flooded and the new seed was carried away and washed out into the street with the water... What was left was a field that ended up being in worse shape then when we started...
We also found this Spring that there is a significant issue with drainage at our facility, which has had repeatedly negative impact and further damaged the field, causing repeated flooding and game cancellations...
We have worked with professionals to develop a plan to address the drainage issues as well as drastically improve our playing surface to offer one of the best fields in the area when the project is completed.
In order to move ahead with this project, we need to raise $30,000 by November...and we NEED your HELP!
The project will include and accomplish the following:
1) regrading the remainder of the field to fit it into where the new sod was installed last year (this will create a well levelled playing surface)
2) creating a slight crown to the field to promote water run off in all directions (right now the field slopes down towards the middle)
3) installing the same high-quality athletic field sod to the remainder of the field that was installed in the north-west corner in the fall of last year
4) creating drainage that will handle the runoff from the parking and reroute the water to the proper channels
The completion of the project will solve a troubling issue, allow us to better serve our current participants as well as helping us to promote our league in the community and continuing to fulfill our mission of "Training Athletes and Building Character"!
Anyway in which you can help us reach our goal would be appreciated more than you know! We strive for excellence as an organization and the completion of this project is #1 on our list of property improvements!
