When the Oncology team asked: What does a "Disney Kid" like you wanna do most in the world ? Buddy's response: "Go to a Disney Resort of course!! "

Just weeks after his 20th birthday in April 2016, Buddy was Diagnosed with Advanced Stage Testicular cancer. Buddy fought hard all summer with 12 weeks of straight chemo, battling multiple infections and other ailments along the way.
The chemo did it's job in shrinking the large tumors, and Surgery in mid October went well.
The 12.5 hour surgery removed tumors from near the kidneys and embedded into the Vena Cava.
Buddy spent 31 days in the ICU. He battled severe pneumonia, infections, kidney failure, and more. After 59 days, Buddy got to go home for Christmas and New Years, his first holidays spent out of the hospital since May.
In early January 2017, lab results showed the cancer had rebounded ferociously. The doctors were stunned. They did not expect to see the massive spread in just one month.
The doctors consulted with a national oncology board and found a chemotherapy regimen that gives us hope to help Buddy kick Cancer! This chemo will be rough, and will hopefully lead to a stem cell transplant in the spring. In 2017 alone, he's spent 37 days (and counting) in the hospital.
In the meantime, Buddy has a big dream...
ABOUT BUDDY
Buddy lives his life in the Disney Magic Way. Born just miles from Disneyland, he lived most of his childhood with a Disney Annual pass in hand. At 18, he achieved his lifelong dream of working at Disneyland, first in food service, then on "Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage" and "Expo: Star Wars Launch Bay & Super Hero HQ". The hours he wasn't working he was playing in "The Park", or enjoying Disney movies, music, books, games, paraphernalia, and more.
Buddy's Bucket List is to see all the Disney parks, ideally as a Disney Cast Member. In 2016, Buddy created Magical Memories at Disney World.
In 2017, as he faces difficult days, he dreams of seeing the Disney Aluani Hawaiian Resort.
All funds raised and not used for Aluani will be used for other medical or living expenses.
