Ground improvement for SFA licencing compliance

Broxburn Athletic Football Club moved from Junior to Senior football at the start of the 2018 season.

The football club have been at the heart of the town for decades and want to continue to build on the already strong local involvement to secure a place to not only play football but to bring together all ages and areas of our community for years to come.

There are several ground improvements and upgrades within the club that are required to meet Scottish Football Association criteria but also to provide our dedicated volunteers, team and staff with the necessary tools to provide the highest possible standard of facilities and service.

As regular visitors to the Albyn will be aware, some changes are already underway, but to achieve our goals requires funding to account for works takong place and in the future. We are aiming, with the help of the community, football fans and those with Broxburn Athletic close to their heart, to raise £10,000 to make all the necessary changes and maintenance.

For further clarification in our SFA Licence application process, Broxburn Athletic FC have solely undertaken and are funding the following works as our licence application does not impact the existing operation of our community club -  Broxburn United Sports Club.

- Licence application fee.- Pitch maintenance & testing accreditation to meet SFA Quality requirements.

- New set of socket goals.

 - Professional gate and fence screening.- New accessible covered viewing area ( 5.8 c/mtr concrete & safety railings)

- Various signage - Defibrillator (for away game first aid kit)

The potential immediate benefits for the club if we become an SFA member is; automatic entry to the preliminary round of the William Hill Scottish Cup and with the necessary success on-field the necessary accreditation to progress through the pyramid system.
