Brittany's Battle Against Cancer

Brittany Matthews has been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and it’s extremely aggressive. The medical team has a very aggressive treatment plan, starting with chemotherapy to shrink and slow the cancer, and then there will be multiple surgeries and possible radiation. This is causing the beginning of her treatment to start with in two weeks of her diagnosis.

Brittany is 33 years old, married to Colin and they have an 8 month old baby. Colin and Brittany both work full time jobs and it takes both salaries to make ends meet. Brittany will have to miss time at her job in order to fight this battle against cancer. She works for Hospice and cares for her patients in a very loving way. While she has insurance, there will be high deductibles, out of pocket expenses, and she is not paid when she’s off work. We want to do everything possible to lighten the load, so their main focus is getting Brittany cured.
