Help me Bring Dixie's Sister Home!

Donation protected
We were trying to save a beautiful young Arabian mare from going to slaughter, and we did that! Sadly, Tag 822 or as we named her, Dixie Belle, had to be put to sleep about a week after she was saved. She was at a veterinary clinic in Mississippi and getting the very best care but she developed a kidney infection which spread into her bloodstream and she wasn't strong enough to fight it. She died with dignity and not on a transport truck to Mexico, or in a Mexican slaughterhouse, and for that I am grateful. I was however heartbroken after all she had been through, that she wouldn't get to live out a long and happy life, safe from abuse and neglect.
in a strange turn of events, yesterday I found out that Dixie Belle's full sister was also at the same kill pen in Bastrop, Louisiana. Her "save fee" had almost been completely raised by donations from a group called The Arabian Kill Pen & Auction Horse Group. I was contacted and asked if I would be prepared to pay the balance of her bail, and give her a home. What could I say? It was meant to be.
Today she was picked up from the kill pen and given her Freedom Ride! She's currently on her way to MIssissippi where she will spend a few days at the veterinary clinic and then on to quarantine.
Several people  have asked, why does she need 60 days of quarantine? This is because she is being imported from the United States into Canada, and she has been at a place where there are potentially certain harmful diseases that she may carry into this country. She needs to be free and clear for 60 days before she's allowed across the border. Those are Canadian rules.
We have named this pretty girl Dixie Rose Belle, after her sister Dixie Belle, and a dear friend of mine, Rose, also a beautiful flaming redhead.
Rose  faces expenses along the way, and I have to pay for poor Dixie Belle's unexpected veterinary expenses. This is the reality of horse rescue - paying the bail is just the beginning. When Rose's quarantine is done, she will be transported from Mississippi to Ontario, Canada where she will have a great life and be loved.
Her first 30 days of quarantine are paid for. If you could see your way to contributing towards her second 30 days and her transportation, that would be wonderful. Please consider a small donation - $15 would pay amday if her quarantine.
Thank you in advance for your help.
