BRIDGE THE HUNGER GAP
I recently launched a new campaign at the studio in support of Cleveland's Food Bank Harvest for Hunger. My campaign began at the studio during our recent Open Studio on April 8th. I call it "Bridge the Gap."
Hunger is an incredible problem in our country and to do something about in even a small way is important I believe. I am always torn when I come to a stop when entering or exiting the highway and seeing a homeless person begging at the side of the road. It is a stark reminder of the reality of this issue for me and a symbol of where we as a country are in regards to hunger.
With a $30.00 donation to my "Bridge the Gap” campaign you will receive a FREE Artist's Signature T-Shirt of a Cleveland Bridge with the Terminal Tower, Key Bank and Tower City shown behind it. The shirt is available in S,M,L, and XL. Up to 75% of your donation will support my Bridge the Gap Hunger Campaign. The title "Bridge the Gap." looks ahead to the Gallery Show I will be having opening this July 5th. at the Malvina J. Freedson Gallery in Winton Place at 12700 Lake Ave. next to the well known Pier W. restaurant on Lakewood's Gold Coast. On display will be many of the bridges of Cleveland I photographed from a small boat traveling on the Cuyahoga River in 2014. After altering the images to achieve my artistic vision, I dry powder printed them onto art glass and fused them into finished images.
Join us from July 5 thru August 28th, the hours are 9am -5pm.
SAVE THE DATE
The Opening Reception is from 5-9pm. on July 22 and the Closing Reception is scheduled for August 20th. 5-9 pm. The show is open to the public.
