Fire Recovery for Peterson/Ward

$2,120 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 43 people in 16 months

On the 8th of March, 2018 - a fire broke out with no notice and quickly swept through 609 1/2 N Madison St in Rome, NY and destroying two apartments...  the building was a total loss.

My daughter Bri Ward and her boyfriend Timothy Lundrigan lived on the second floor...

My brother-in-law Tommy and his son Jon Peterson lived downstairs...

These two families are trying to rebuild. They need a great many things, everything was lost in the fire.

We hope to help them both get back on their feet as quickly as possible and we appreciate any help you can give them.

The money will be used to help cover the expense of replacing clothing, furniture, pet supplies, bedding, kitchenware and much much more.

So many people have already begun helping them and we greatly appreciate it.

Thank you, from all of our family to all of you who help them out!

Wow, 16 days doesn't really seem like such a long time... Yet in the last two weeks, we found a cat, got Bri & Tim into an apartment and Tom & Jon into a house with family.

Numerous friends and family have stopped by to drop off clothing, household stuff or money, and gift cards.

In addition to those who stopped by, our GoFundMe campaign has been shared 233 times and 41 people have dipped into their pockets to help us via this effort. We thank you ALL for your help and support.

Our four family members are all doing well, still trying to pick up the pieces and get back to something like "normal" routines, your help has meant a lot to all four of them, and my wife and I as well.

Still trying to fill in the gaps of missing things, a few pieces of furniture, little stuff that we don't realize is missing till you need it, and the need for spring/summer clothing instead of winter stuff will eventually hit us (this is CNY, so probably in June :)

Thank you to everyone who has pitched in to help our family members get back on their feet, we cannot thank you enough!

In addition to all the help we have received, keep please your eyes open for Yuki our missing cat? She is all white, with blue eyes, however, she will not answer to her name, as she is deaf.

We appreciate any help you can give us in keeping a watch out for her.
