For those of you who know Brent Lewis Bridges, you know what a genuinely great guy he is. Brent is the first to help out anyone in need. He wouldn't hesitate to pull the shirt off his back in a blinding snowstorm if you needed it to blow your nose. Well now Brent needs our help!
Brent was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer after a colonoscopy revealed a mass in his colon. This diagnosis came suddenly after a visit to the doctor because of persistent abdominal pain. Brent has already had one surgery to prepare him for chemotherapy. A series of chemotherapy treatments are required to reduce the size of the mass before additional surgeries can be performed to remove it.
Brent has been a Professional Firefighter for over 5 years and recently started with Canyon Lake Fire/EMS. He has no sick or vacation time built up and will not receive an income while undergoing treatment and recovery.
