Medical Marijuana_BreakTheStigma

I have many difficulties in my life that have led to me not be able to work. I have SchizoAffective- Bipolar Type Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, ADD, PTSD and a persisistent eating disorder that I have suffered from for over 20 years. But the most debilating problems I deal with day to day are my extreme chronic pain conditions:  Fibromyalgia and Spondylitis Arthritis. 

With the recommendation from my primary care physician, psychiatrist, and rheumatologist, I applied to see if I qualified for Medical Marijuana, I currently take 24 pills a day and an injection once a week. I can't work, obviously. I have a hard enough time getting out of bed, forcing myself to shower (I try some days), using a cane to walk, and dealing with the constant pain. Most days I can hardly leave the house or even my room because it is too difficult to move and with everything I deal with I tend to isolate myself from everyone and everything. Then there are the  panic attacks, extreme mood swings, episodes of depression where I can't get out of my bed, periods of mania where I go days without sleep, have racing thoughts and a false belief of superiority. There are also times I suffer from delusions, hallucinations, hopelessness, thoughts of suicide, paranoia, even psychosis. Medically I can't drive and obvisously have an extreme difficultly taking care of myself on my own so I find myself having to rely on my family to care for me. I'm very grateful for my parents who allow me to live with them, instead of in a group home or assisted living setting. They are amazing to take care of me and are great caretakers. They help me with everything which I'm sure is very difficult at times to deal with someone in chronic pain and with severe mental disorders. I can barely deal with myself!

Having  no disposable income has been a major issue in my life.I have monthly, sometimes weekly doctor appointments and bloodwork.  Luckily, I have parents who help drive me to appointments, along with the Disability Bus transportation. And my family is amazing and pay for as many appointments and medications as they can.

Now on to THE REASON FOR MY GO FUND ME ACCOUNT.
I have qualified for medical marijuaja here in Florida. This issue is that the intial Doctor Appointment is $250, the follow up is $150 and the application fee for the Florida card is $75. The Medical Marijuana is very expensive to get as well and insurance will not cover it. 

That is A LOT of money for a chronically ill woman who does not have the ability to work. Someone gave me the idea of reaching out with a GO FUND ME account to see if I could get some help. It would be so helpful to get on medical marijuana and get off of some of these harmful 24 medications I take everyday. Natural is obviously better than something made in a lab that causes many irreversable side effects and causes damage to organs.

Please find it in your heart to help me improve my health and have some quality of life. Any little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated. Just know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to getting healthy with this legal medical marijuana that has been approved for all of my conditions!
