Hi everyone! Thank you for checking out this campaign for Brandy Daly. My name is Emilie and I am a friend of Brandy's.
Just 3 months into her career as a CRNA at Maine Medical Center, Brandy was diagnosed with Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which is an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. She has a long road ahead of her and we want to help her out. Brandy will undergo a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction on November 15, followed by multiple months of chemotherapy. Her doctors are treating her very aggressively because of her young age.
Before surgery and chemo begin, Brandy is undergoing fertility treatments to have eggs and embryos frozen. This will help conserve her chance of having children someday. Unfortunately, her fertility treatments are not covered by insurance and they will cost her over $5,000 in out-of-pocket costs. In addition, since Brandy has just started a new job, she will not qualify for disability while she is out of work.
Our goal is to help lessen the financial burden of Brandy's cancer treatment so she can keep her focus on beating cancer and feeling well. Anything that you can donate will help Brandy fund this fight! All donations will be used to pay medical bills.
