Help Brandi Get to ASH

My name is Brandi Graham and I'm 18 years old. I am proud to say that I am a student at the X-Press Yourself Performing Arts Center! I take dance classes at X-press yourself and I'm also a part of the dance ensemble. To dance is an expression through movement. There's many different emotions involved in the art of dance and no matter how your feeling happy , sad , or angry you can express that emotion by dancing. I never looked at myself as being a great dancer but as I started to be involved with dance my technique has improved and my confidence. The art of dance has helped me to become more confident when I'm singing. I say this because it made me believe that I can accomplish anything if I put my mind to it. I've been involved in dancing since I was 9 years old starting off praise dancing at Greater Exodus Baptist Church. I then began to take classes at the Feltonville Dream Center which is now X-Press Yourself at the age of 13 . The 5 years that I've been dancing with Ms. Fayette from 13 years old to now 18 years old has enhanced my dance ability and helped me to grow a love for dancing that I never thought I would have !
