This is my brother Brad Duell. He is a 42 year old, single father raising a teenage daughter. He is battling Leukemia for the second time in his life.
After a bone marrow transplant For CML in 1998, he was able to bounce back to a pretty normal, productive lifestyle.
But back in April he was diagnosed with a more aggressive Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, and has been laid up in Hollings Cancer Center / MUSC undergoing harsh chemotherapy regimen. So intense was damage to the liver from this, the course of action had to be halted to allow him to heal enough to continue. Which adds months possibly to the over all treatment and recovery time frame.
His well being, recovery, and care of daughter Emma, has been our families main priority. All while paychecks suffer, and bills add up....
