Borys's Rehabilitation Fund
We- the parents of the Argyle Junior Boys Basketball Team - are asking for donations to support one of our team members.
This January, 16 year old Borys Zayiryukha became ill with a streptococcus based sinus infection that travelled to his brain necessitating emergency brain surgery on January 24th 2017. He is in the Neuro ward Children’s Hospital until he is able to transfer to Sunny Hill Hospital and start Physio. He is partially immobile and cannot speak at this time
As part of his recovery, one of his parents must be with him at all times. This is putting a huge strain on their family as they try to be present for Borys, his younger siblings, and their full time jobs. There is no extended family here to lend support.
With the money raised, we will assist the family the following ways:
• Meal service
• 24 hour Parking Pass
• Pharmacy gift cards
• Gas cards
• House Cleaning Service
• Lost Wages
As parents we dread serious illness in our children. We hope that the funds raised will be allow Olga and Boris to be have some of the stress eased as they care for Borys.
