Welcome to the 2nd Annual Bless your Cotton Socks! Fundraiser and sock drive. Last year was a huge success, so Raise Up Fundraising Inc. in partnership with Michelle Chandra is thrilled to do it again this year.

We all really care about people in our city that need a little extra help, especially around the holidays.

And what better way is there to celebrate than by helping out people in need in our community? Sure, nudding bah!

Socks are one of the most needed items by folks in shelters and for newcomers to our lovely province over the winter months, and they are donated the least.

Our goal is to raise enough dollars to buy 500 pairs of socks to be donated to Shelters and Supportive organizations in our fine city. For even just a few dollars, we can get at least a pair of decent socks. Deadly!

We have until Dec 21st to collect the funds, so we can purchase them and drop them off that evening to ensure people’s toes are toasty before the holiday rush. We can do this! We will be so thankful for every tiny and not so tiny donation you make.

Or, why not knit up a storm and donate them to someone in need? Next time you’re out grabbing those holiday stocking stuffers, pick up a pair of warm socks for someone special you don’t know!

Please contact Michelle Chandra or Allyson Howse for new sock donations and additional information. If you are interested in helping out, or becoming a sponsor or partner, we would love to hear from you.
