Bill & Jack bring Victim Voices to World Congress

Tax deductible
“The answer is Love and compassion for all of humanity”

Bill Pelke & Jack Sullivan Jr. are bringing the message of love and compassion for all of humanity to the 7th World Congress Against the Death Penalty  in Brussels, Belgium in February, 2019. Jack and Bill have many things in common, but the tie that binds is the loss of a loved one. Jack lost his sister Jennifer to senseless act of murder which remains unsolved. Bill also lost his grandmother “Nana” to a senseless act of murder.

More than 1500 people from around the world will be present at the World Congress and related events. Our goal is to ensure they return home empowered with the message that not all murder victim families want revenge.  This is so important because many people support the death penalty because they think executions helps murder victims families heal.

As loved ones of murder victims, Bill and Jack know first-hand of the pain and anguish that is suffered from that loss and yet reject seeking revenge as a way to heal. Representing the U.S. based anti-death penalty victim’s families organization Journey of Hope…from Violence to Healing, they will bring the voice of victim’s families to the global meeting of death penalty abolitionists. Bill and Jack will ensure the message of the healing power of forgiveness as a way to heal and promote Restorative Justice as a way to live
