Keep Track of this campaign on my personal Youtube where I'll be creating weekly video updates (Every Sunday) with how things are going.

Benjamin Smalley also known as, "Benzmixer" (Artist Alias) is one of the most selfless and kind people in the world you could know. On January 15th 2017 at roughly 1:30 p.m. we received terrible news that his mother had died of breast cancer, which is a battle she’s been facing for several months. This comes after his father died in late 2013 from a different form of cancer. Benjamin’s parents were the most giving people I’ve ever met. They personally took me into their home when I was 19 and just entering the world on my own. I was in a situation which left me homeless and with out asking any questions or expecting anything of me; this family had taken me in with open arms and they me a part of their family; Even when they weren’t in the best financial situation.

Benjamin has been a great influence in my life as a friend and as a musician. He’s the type of person who would with out question give you the shirt off of his back. He picks up these traits from his parents who just passed. Their passing is leaving a financial burden on him, which he faces on his own after having been the responsible caretaker of his mother while she was on hospice.  He stood by her side and played some of her favorite music before she passed. Benjamin told me of a conversation him and his mother had several months earlier when his mother was first diagnosed with the terminal Stage 4 breast cancer. His mother only wanted that he continue to pursue his ambition and dreams and that he do it to the best of his ability.

His parents were extremely supportive of him. So, much so that they allowed Benjamin to continue to live at home to pursue his passion in music and being a full time DJ. Now that they’ve passed Benjamin is in the world on his own for the first time with very little resources to do exactly what his mother told him. Things like having a his drivers license, a car, a place to live after March of this year, are now some of the uphill battle which Benjamin faces.

I knew eventually it would come to this. I didn’t know exactly how soon how ever. I’ve spoken with Benjamin about relocating to Los Angeles, California to be with the people who support him the most and make his music career possible. I was actually saving up myself to relocate to Los Angeles and establish a foundation prior to anything happening. Due to the untimely death of his mother I wasn’t able to set that up. So, the next big thing I could do is reach out to you the community which knows Ben for his music, for his character and charisma , or who just might be hearing of this amazing guy just now to assist some one just trying to get into the world in a self sustaining fashion. We are aiming high on our goal to show what the most ideal situation would look like if we could manage to reach the amount of support we’re hoping to receive by reaching out!

Below are the list of things the money will be invested into if you contribute or share and support this fund we greatly appreciate you:

First & Foremost:

1. The burial and memorial service as requested in his mother’s living will. (We are making this the main priority over everything).

Secondly,
Benjamin needs a few essentials so he could be mobile and then start looking for work.

2. His License
3. A used car
4. Registration
5. A month or two of insurance.

Lastly, I’ve been working and saving funds to get Ben out west as well as myself to be closest to his record label and management team, “Savage Society”. So he could begin to work on artist development and be in a better geographical location for the things he’s attempting to achieve so the following helps us with that.

6. Uhaul truck
7. Gas
8. Lease on an apt
9. Lastly, a month or two of rent, to start off on the right foot.

I linked my Youtube Channel (CLICK HERE). I’ll be making weekly updates speaking about where we are in the process of reaching this large goal and then as I relocate and as we get ready to transition forward to the move to Los Angeles, California I’ll be daily vlogging and documenting the experience and journey Benjamin and I have taken since moving to Los Angeles and document both our growth as artists and in life while we are living together. If you’d like to keep up with us and see how these funds are being used please subscribe.
