Saving Bella: A Diabetic Dog Ordeal
Donation protected
Bella whom we found out was diabetic in January, is still alive and kicking despite what the vet clinic said at that time. They said she wouldn't last a couple days and pressured me to euthanize her unless I let them keep her indefinitely to experiment on at great expense. I declined and sought help elsewhere and it's been 8 months, and she's doing great!
Unfortunately, I'm still trying to pay off the $1,500 vet bill from January that I had to put on my credit card, on top of paying for her current appointments and medication. It has made paying the bill impossible considering the interest charged, and the lack of income I have to fully pay it off fast enough, since my income goes towards current vet bills and other nessessities on top of paying what I can towards the January vet bill.
The vet put me and my family through hell that weekend, and on top of that misdiagnosis, left me with a major bill.
If anyone has any change to spare, and knows what having a pet feels like, and how much they mean to us. Please donate whatever you can, since every little bit helps. Then I can pay that awful bill off and put that nightmarish experience behind me, and look towards the future, with my best buddy Bella.
To see what they put my family through, please watch the video I posted that goes into more detail, and even has a recent video of her taken having a ball chasing squirrels to end on a happy note.
