Dreaming about Baby Koch

We are currently stationed overseas in Germany and hope to start the IVF journey in December or January 2015. We have wanted and tried for babies for almost 4 years. With deployments, surgeries, and moves it seems sometimes like it will never happen for us. The struggle a couple goes through while dealing with infertility and the military life is very hard at times. The last  2 years I let my emotions get the best of me and I gained 85 lbs. I am now currently losing weight, feeling great and helping increase the chances of Ivf being successful. Zak has always been such a great support & I love him so much. He will be such an amazing daddy. Even with our struggles we feel very blessed to have each other.
Our military insurance doesn't cover anything to do with IVF, so we are hoping and praying for a little help. Zak & I are saving what we can but it is very expensive and IVF doesn't always work the first time so we might have to do it all over again. We are also considering adopting, but want to give this a try first. If we make our goal, exceed our goal, or have any money left over we will be donating it back to causes. So make sure to share your stories with us, so we can send some love your way as well.
Thanks in advance for all the help, support and love we have been shown by families, friends, and strangers.

Even if you can't donate we would love and appreciate you sharing this page and or sending messages of hope to us or others :)

(We will be blogging and putting video's up on you tube so you can follow the journey with us.)

I took weight pictures today. It was Very scary and hard to do. Facing some hard realities. It will be a hard couple of months to drop some weight, but it will be worth it. I will be doing a blog post with the picture I took and some updates on weight, how I feel, etc. Zak started some weight loss goals on Monday as well. He has already started working out, eating better and taking meals to work. We are hoping to start IVF process in 2-3 months if all works out... Fingers Crossed
I just need a little inspiration today:)

Just a little update. We have now moved back to the states after being in Germany for 3 years. It was a great adventure but I am glad to be back and closer to all our family & friends. We had decided it was best to wait until we were back stateside before we tried IVF. Although its cheaper in Germany our support system is here & with the language barrier I just knew I'd be more comfortable to do it here. I am still struggling with excess weight & would love some inspiration from you all. I hope all your dreams and wishes are coming true. We will post another update after the new year. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Thanks for the continued support you all show us. xoxoxo

Well it has been awhile since I updated on my end. No luck on the baby front so far, but I have lost 10 pounds since starting my job back up again, so only 30 more to go and we will be doing IVF early March. Zak & Moose(our dog) are doing good. Things in Germany have improved because I have got out a lot more and work keeps me busy & I meet new people. Plus My dad & Vicky came to Germany for a visit and we went around to many places. Even went to the town where my Grandma was born and grew up. It was a neat experience. Ive had some awesome visiting teachers(friends) come by and talk. They almost always bring a sweet treat as well ;) Christmas & New Years Eve were good. I got to spend lots of time with Zak & Moose and was able to watch tons of movies. Well thats all for now. Thanks for always supporting us & keep us in your hearts & prayers. Your always in our hearts . (I am adding a picture and it is Zak & I in Holland. We found a store that is our last name & makes amazing pottery. Also across the street was a shop we believe my grandmas family use to own & work in. Its a small world).

Well I had a doctors visit today. I am going to get some blood work done, & I need to lose 30 LBS or more to get my BMI where it should be before I start IVF. Time to start eating 100% better then I have been, & get back into running and any workouts I can do. We are way ready for a baby so anything I can do to prepare. Next visit we will get our referral to a local IVF doctor/clinic and start the process. Thanks all! :)
