BRCA2 Ovarian Cancer

Recently tested BRCA2+ & almost immediately diagnosed with high grade invasive serous carcinoma ovarian cancer after being sick over 1 1/2 years. 
What happened to me should never happen and hopefully as I share it will help not only myself but anyone else who needs to hear.
 After losing my insurance and paying cash for testing the bills added up. I will be having a 2nd surgery soon and chemotherapy a few weeks later.  I finally have insurance but am unable to work steady yet. As soon as I get settled in a treatment plan and see how I react to chemo I will begin working again and paying off the debt. 
The next phase will be addressing my breast cancer risk. After testing positive for Brca2 and a family history of breast cancer the recommendation for treatment is usually  a double mastectomy with tumor blocking medications. I will be seeing a specialist next  week to discuss my options. This is going to be a hard fight but one I hope to win.
