Spende geschützt
On Friday February, 19, 2015, in Oldsmar Florida, 19 year-old Michelle Huey raced in the USA BMX Cycling World Qualifiers. BMX, an abbreviation for bicycle motocross, is the cycle sport performed on BMX bikes.
Michelle qualified that day to race for and represent the USA at the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) BMX World Championship in Medellin, Columbia in May 2016. The event, including over nine days of racing, will be attended by nearly half a million spectators and seen by hundreds of millions of television viewers worldwide.
Riding since the age of 12, Michelle practices weekly at her home BMX tracks in Cape Coral and Naples, Florida. She also travels throughout Florida for the Sunshine State BMX Association (SSA) Cup Series as well as national competitions. Over the past 7 years she has won several State, District and National titles. Michelle is ranked 15th in her National Age Groups (NAG) and qualifying for the UCI BMX World Championships is a significant personal achievement.
Michelle has a passion for the sport of BMX and is honored to represent the USA at the UCI BMX World Championship. However, she needs help in offsetting the expenses related to her trip and is currently asking for your support in her ride to victory. Please consider supporting Michelle...any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
