Ava's Medical fund

Our Daughter's name is Ava Grace.  She is now four years old and has already undergone various surgeries, but is about to go through a rough time again.  Ava was born with a heart condition and a bad right eye.  She now has specialists that are working together to try to help her KEEP her eye.  She will never be able to see out of it now.  But she requires a special prosthetic to aid in the growth of her entire face.  She does not have the "pressure" that a good eye produces to push her occular cavity and facial structure to grow.  Our medical bills have far exceeded what we ever could imagine.  And with her need for medical treatment, this new prosthetic, and possible surgery on the horizon...we just don't know where to turn anymore.    

We will use each and every dollar to pay the medical bills, get her any prosthetic that she needs, and pay for any other alternative treatments she may need.  It is only the first of many...as we have been informed that it will be necessary to remold her eye and make a new prosthetic every six months for years to come.  

We initially proceeded with the original prosthetic and Ava had a FULL BODY REJECTION!  We were forced to rush her to her retina specialist and have it removed the following morning.  Then it took almost two months for her eye to heal enough to continue any type of treatment....which we are doing as of now.  But soon we are returning to the drawing board and beginning again.
