Cat Rescue honoring Arlene Luizza

If anyone knew Arlene they knew she had a deep and everlasting love of her furry feline friends. Although a thorough and dedicated COO at Titan Industries and later for Badgley Mischka LLC, aside from her family, Arlene's true passion and love was for her feral cats.
Going by the old Charles David offices decades ago and feeding them, taking them to the vet when needed and having them fixed were no problem for her. She knew them all and gave kittens to coworkers who would take them as well as bringing them home herself....
I can't imagine anything that would make Arlene happier than to have a Cattery supported in her honor, see Welcome Home Sanctuary's mission statement below. Jessica Lu former designer for Titan Industries and Pacific Wholesale has partnered in this organization which Arlene was interested in hearing about. Unfortunately that meeting will never take place but the cats will be forever indebted if you can help support their care.
Welcome Home Sanctuary is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to create an all-inclusive, environmentally friendly animal sanctuary, to build a sustainable community for humans, to promote empowerment & awareness, to teach the public the profound impacts our actions have on our environment, and to simply love and respect all living beings.
WHS is an all-volunteer grass-root organization which is operated 100% off donations. There are absolutely NO administration costs taken from donations.
We are in the process of raising money to purchase a piece of land. In the mean while, we assist & support our sister organization VIDA shelter located in Rowland Heights, CA. Each month about 30 dogs get adopted, but only one cat gets adopted in three months. It cost $1000 every month to sustain the cattery. ($500 for rent, $200 for cat litter & food, $300 cleaning & supplies). if we can raise 12K, 12 cats will live comfortably there for a year.
