Help April through recovery

I have known April for about four years now. Our friendship started as just a simple working relationship. She was the bar manager at the night club I bartended at, and that we worked at for three years together. Within those three years she was not only my manager, but became my best friend and confidant. She is that friend I laugh with, that friend I cry with, she is that friend who always has my back. I charish this woman so much, and value the strength she has given me. Along with being a wonderful friend to me and many others, she is also (more importanlty), a hard working mother of three. She will go to the ends of the earth for her kids. I know she has not only touched my life, but has touched so many of our hearts with a kind word, a smile, or a great joke. I have seen her put together fundraisers for friends when they have fallen on hard times, due to illness, as well as deliver toys directly to the DSS office, when the DSS office haden't gotten thier paper work in; in time for Toys for Tots. She has done so much for so many people, without ever needing a thank you or something in return. Now it is time to show April the love that she has shown all of us. April has been told by her doctors that she will need to have a hysterectomy and mastectomy as soon as possible. This is due to abnormal cells that are causing cancer growth within her breasts and uterus. These surgeries will drastically decrease her chances of the cancer getting worse or spreading to other organs. We are asking friends, family, and anyone willing to help raise $10,000 dollars for April's recovery. April has health care and the cost for the operations is taken care of through her health care provider. But bartending is like any other sales job. If you arn't working, then your not making any income. So; April has put off her surgery dates because she can't take the eight to ten weeks off for her recovery. I am asking that we all come together to help raise the money she will need while in recovery. This money will cover her monthly expenses, and her copays at the doctors offices while she is recovering. Anything anyone can do to help will be greatly appreciated by April and her family.
