Saving Anya's Life

Fourteen year old Anya Dibkey is struggling to recover from five major Crohn's disease surgeries in just three weeks.  Her family has exhausted its financial resources throughout Anya's severe chronic illness, which last month resulted in surgery intended to relieve some suffering.  Unfortunately, half of Anya's internal sutures ruptured and caused massive abdominal infections and abcesses.  Anya's situation is touch and go.  She has lost two feet of colon, has tubes protruding from her stomach to drain abcesses, and an ileostomy bag.  Her family is staying 2.5 hours from home near the hospital, while Anya travels a long, very painful road.  Her mom Heather had to abruptly stop working to provide ongoing round-the-clock care for Anya while her dad Kirt cares for her younger brother Logan and looks for part time work.   Anya tries to be optimistic, but is often in terrible pain from the surgeries, infections, and her disease.   No donation or prayer is too small to help them for a few acute months while they struggle to stay afloat and pay medical and basic living expenses.   They are a loving family who have been quick to help others - let's help them now.
