Andy foolishly enters the 2016 London Marathon Ballot and gets accepted and is now here asking you for money! Supporting "National Autistic Society" and "Friends of Kennel Lane School".
To maximise this opportunity I have been given and help to motivate me not only during the actual 26.2 miles on the 24th April but the hundreds of training miles I have and will be running beforehand, I have set up this fundraising page.
As many of you know my son Isaac was diagnosed to be within the Autistic Spectrum when he was 3 years old, since then myself and his mother have had a rollercoaster of emotions and events that have been testing at times, and incredibly rewarding at others. Without the help of organisations like the National Autistic Society and the help and support of Isaac's school (Kennel Lane in Bracknell) I do believe we would have had a lot more lows than highs, for that reason I want to give something back so that others in our situation can be helped the same way.

Every little bit of money that I can raise to help will be greatly received. The donations received will be split between the charities 50% each. Meaning they will go to help families and individuals dealing with ASD and also go towards helping a local charity support the School, helping support young people affected by numerous conditions and providing them with a safe and structured place to learn.
Why I am using "gofundme"? Being that Friends of Kennel Lane School is only a small local charity it does not receive the constant donations it is not financial viable for them to have a "Justgiving" or the like connection as this charges the charity itself £16.99 a month to be registered. After a lot of searching and investigation "gofundme" is the easiest way to get the most from each donation (only 5% per donation is taken for admin fees) and easiest way to split the donation 50/50 between Nation Autistic Society and Friends of Kennel Lane School.
