IHRA World Finals in Memphis, Tenn.

Hi there.  My name is Andy Closkey, and I'm a high school Auto shop teacher in Quesnel, BC.  I've been drag racing since 1992, and currently race a 1965 Chevelle called Strip Teaser.   I race at BC tracks in Ashcroft, Mission, Prince George, and run a regular points races in Ft St John.   This year, I was able to run in the IHRA Summit Super Series by being the #1 in the No Box, or Mod, class at Northern Lights Raceway.   At the Bracket Finals in Spokane, I won the run-off and qualified to go to the World Finals, which are held in Memphis, Tennessee.   This is a great opportunity to represent Canada, as well as all of IHRAs Division 6 racers.   The problem with this opportunity, is that it is about 4100 kms, one way.  To make this trip, I will need funds to cover the travel expenses with getting my car, trailer, and myself there and back.   Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate every donation that is made.  For extra info, click on the links below.
