Andrea Tyrah DeBruhl, age 5, was granted her angel wings on February 1, 2016. Her final days were spent with her family and friends enjoying activities and events she participated in regularly including gymnastics, soccer, and a family trip to Snow Mountain.
Tyrah was born on April 12, 2010. She attended Kindergarten at Newton County Theme School. On February 1, 2016, Tyrah died from asphyxia when she became entangled in the monkey bars on the school's playground. We cannot believe our little girl has been taken from this world.
Tyrah loved to sing, dance, and write journal entries. She participated in various activities including gymnastics at Rockdale Gymnastics, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Covington Troop 16525, and soccer at Rockdale Youth Soccer Association. She attended Victory Community Church and participated in Jumpstart Kids. She leaves with us vibrant and precious memories to cherish including her beautiful smile, curly hair, bright eyes, perfect eyebrows, and loving nature.
Members of the community have asked for an opportunity to donate to Tyrah's memory. We greatly appreciate the outpouring support from the community. We will use any contributions to arrange a memorial for Tyrah.
