Al Garcia Needs Our Help!

Over the years, Al Garcia has been many things to many people.  Some  of us have been with him from the beginning, at the gym in his garage, while others began over on Marconi. Some have stayed, some have left and many have come back.  He has created healthier people and trained competitive power and Olympic lifters who have brought awards and medals to the gym.  He frequently sees talent and strength in clients who never knew they possessed them.

Al was our trainer, but  most of all, he is our friend. He was there to push us when we needed pushing, to share our triumphs and celebrations, and to listen with a warm heart to the inevitable ups and downs of our lives.

Tragically, this gruff teddy bear of a guy was felled by a massive stroke while in Los Angeles, planning his Dad’s memorial service. He is in a medically induced coma at UCLA Medical Center and there is a very long road ahead.

 Now Al needs our support.  The gym, his business and only source of income is closed. His finances are limited. The medical expenses and later costs for rehabilitation are and will be overwhelming.

He is fortunate to have a loving partner, Mary, in his life and 6 loving children (his and hers) who will be with him every step of this long road to recovery.  Let's see if we can improve his health like he improved ours by creating a cushion for him while he is unable to work.
