Rosie's Battle Continues...as does the need for a home.

UPDATE:
Thank you to all those who continue to support our dream of having a home that we can call our own.  A cozy place that we can't get evicted from, or are forced out of, or that gets sold out from under us, or a place we just can't afford. We dream of a small place that we can call home, and feel safe & secure. One that Rosie can live in, feel relaxed and heal. A home my girls can help decorate as they like and make it our own without fear of damaging someone else's property. A place where we don't have to pack up and move on, yet again. We have packed up and moved on far too many times, the place we move to this time will be our 5th address in 6 years!

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone for the enormous outpouring of love and generosity that continues to impact our lives in such an amazing way! It has been a very long and difficult battle for 12 years now, and one that will continue on until a cure is found. Having a roof over our heads and removing the fear of homelessness is life-changing for all of us. Such a huge amount of stress will be lifted off my shoulders, lifted off all of us, once we are able to secure a home and move in. I have no words to fully express how much each donation that comes into support us means to me/us. With each and every donation that blesses us, I visualize bricks being added onto the walls of our future dwelling, that will protect us and surround us with love. How do I even begin to thank you all for that?

Thank you with all our hearts,
Jo, Bella & Rosie XOXO

HOW THIS ALL STARTED:
This is my last desperate attempt to make this crazy dream a reality. I am starting a new Go Fund Me page right now while I am sitting here by my 14-year-old daughter's hospital bed. She had her 17th brain surgery yesterday, she has a life-threatening illness call Hydrocephalus. She is also on her 5th protocol of chemotherapy for brain cancer. The chemo she is currently on is 26 months long and she is only in her 4th month.  She also has Neurofibromatosis and an extremely rare (she is the only pediatric case known) disease called NF-Diffused Lung Disease; among other issues. She is slowly losing her eyesight and is learning braille.  Rosie has been battling since she was 3-years-old.  I'm a single mother and we are in a desperate place right now. We need a home.  I’m calling this campaign “A Home 4 Rosie”. Please share it like crazy, please. PLEASE, I’m begging you to just share it around the world. We need your HELP. We need a safe place to live. We need stability in our crazy life of battling pediatric brain cancer, hydrocephalus, Neurofibromatosis, NF-DLD…trying to be a single mom is hard, but add all the other medical stuff, the bills, meds, and chemo on top of it and it makes it impossible.  I can’t do this alone. I work 35+ hours a week as a special education one-on-one, but I only make $12.63 an hour. PLEASE SHARE and donate any amount you can, even $1 will help us buy a home.

We are humbled by the generosity of others, our goal is independence, and a place to call home. Thank you for allowing me to ask yet again for your help in keeping Rosie, her sister Bella and I out of homelessness.

With BIG hopes in my heart.
I am grateful.

Thank you,
