My Name is Adam Brada. I am 14 years old. I am a Boy Scout with Troop 1139 in Green Bay. I have played soccer for DePere Select since I was in kindergarten.
Our team plays games out Southwest Park in DePere. It sounds like they will be putting lights on Field1 this summer and that will be our primary field.
My Eagle Scout service project is to install backstop poles and nets on both ends of Field 1 at Southwest Park this summer. They have nets like this at Cornerstone. They will help keep balls from going into the playground and parking lot. This is a big project. The total cost of materials and equipment will be about $4,500 for the two nets. I am hoping to raise enough money from my friends and family to pay for one. It would be great if all the families of DePere Select players could contribute to help us pay for the other one.
