Dear Persian Community of Arizona,
We are making plans towards the future of Arizona's first Persian Cultural Center in the Phoenix metro area. We have found a central location at the heart of Scottsdale, and are in final stages of signing the lease.
We have reached this far based on your popular requests over the years and your generous support. We now have enough funds to sign the lease, and cover rent for one year!
However, this is only the beginning. Many of you have been urging us to find a permanent location where you can attend Persian art exhibitions, workshops and study groups, to teach and learn the rich Persian heritage and culture, play a game of backgammon or chess with your friend, or recite Rumi poetry. To make these possible, we need your help to prepare the space. We need your help to buy paint, carpet, chairs, and tables, sound system, etc., etc.
The space is about 2000 Sq Ft and is comprised of a large room for big gatherings and lectures, or exhibitions, and a smaller room, for smaller gatherings.
Below we have listed what we need, you can contribute $35 for a gallon of paint, or $1300 for the large screen TV in the large room. Or you can contribute anywhere in between. Our goal is to raise $10320.
Depending on your status, your donations maybe tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt.
Please also keep in mind that this organization is strickly a non-political, non-religious and non-profit charity organization. And that we join together to enrich the lives of Arizona residents by promoting an awareness of the Iranian culture, heritage, language, history and contributions through education, music, dance, theater, art, food and sense of community.
Many companies match all or part of your donations to 501 (C) (3) charity organizations. Please refer to your company's web site to learn if your company does that.
