Help Fix Asande Roof before Xmas

I am the volunteer Program Director of Project Kenya, a nonprofit that supports 32 orphans in Kenya. (kenya.kaiizen.org)
We just got word that the rainy season has been so difficult for the Asande Kids that their roofing has severe damage and has started to cave in above their cooking area, and it has completely been destroyed in other parts of their house. The only thing they are all begging for this Christmas is a fixed roof.
Why? Some nights they are unable to start their fire and cook because the roof is damaged and water pours in. They go to bed hungry. In other parts of the Asande House, roofing doesn't even exist so they are unable to use the areas and frequently suffer with illnesses from the wet and cold.
As someone currently living in Africa, I will attest that the rainy reason is very, very severe. Not having a functioning roof is not having a place to sleep, to keep from illness, and to cook under the fire. This is something that can truly make a difference for these 32 orphans.
We did research to find the best deal, and the labor plus parts in Kenya will equal approximately $800 to fix the roof. We would like to get started right away on the project once we get donations.
