Alpha Nu Sigma’s Movember Movement

Alpha Nu Sigma, a chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, is collaborating with The Movember Foundation, a multinational charity that raises money and the awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention in men.

Alpha Nu Sigma’s “Movember Movement” will be held on November 9, 2018 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, on the Grand Strand Campus of Horry-Georgetown Technical College, in the Conference Center (600 Building).

We are currently in the creation phase of this event, and need help. We would like to host an event with food, drinks, entertainment, tshirts, contests with prizes, and more. So donations are very much appreciated, however donations come in many forms other than money. Please contact me for more information.

This is a dual fundraiser; a majority of the money collected during the event will be donated to The Movemeber Foundation, while the rest will remain with the chapter. The Movember Foundation has agreed to the terms and will help us any way they can for a successful benefit.
