Honor Our Fallen Heroes

“American First Responders Memorial Monument™”

This sculpture is meant to honor and memorialize all fallen firefighters and other first responders. Its significance and the symbolisms expressed within the artwork are intended to provoke thought and understanding in the viewer’s mind. Its purpose is to convey the real danger these brave individuals put themselves in, each and every day.

Because the men and women in the first responder community are afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), in numbers comparable to our military, the actual building of the monument is creating a forum where sufferers can come together and share hope and healing. “Art as Therapy” is proving to be a successful program for learning tactics for dealing with PTSD.

Upon completion, the next phase of the plan is to put the monument on a national tour which will include a fire safety and prevention campaign. The goal of said campaign is to re-educate the general public in proper fire safety and prevention practices. This will, in turn, help them protect themselves, their families and property, and the first responders who answer their calls for help.

We will also be incorporating a PTSD awareness and education campaign into the tour. We feel it is our mission to remove the stigma the public has in regards to PTSD. We would like to promote the “Art as Therapy” program, and if all goes as planned, give sufferers the opportunity to create their own pieces of art.

The AFRMM will be the first traveling tribute to fallen firefighters and other first responders ever created by chainsaw. The hope is that it will achieve national monument status and be permanently placed in a prominent memorial park.

We have been blessed with some of the best equipment sponsors in the world.  Without them the actual construction of the monument wouldn't be possible.  We have been financing this project completely on our own.  We are now in need of financial contributions to help the project reach completion.  Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
